Sweden's only wooden roller coaster is again voted the best in the world. Balder easily outdistanced the competition this year to reclaim the #1 spot.
Dollywood's Thunderhead surprised many enthusiasts by climbing all the way to second in the poll in its second season of operation. Lake Compunce's Boulder Dash is again in the top three and Silverwood's Tremors repeats in fourth. Nara Dreamland's Aska finished fifth worldwide and tops in Asia. Knoebel's perennial favorite Phoenix finished sixth. Mount Olympus's Hades made a strong debut in seventh.

I think Balder looks pretty amazing myself and I can't wait to ride El Toro this summer.
I have only been on one of the top ten, but have been planning on hitting a few of the others when I can.
