Yeah, this was never going to happen, ever.
There are plenty of proposals for parks and rides that have failed to get off the ground in the UK. My personal favourite was an Arrow Hyper for Southend, called Swine – which promptly got nicknamed "The Pig One".
I develop Superior Solitaire when not riding coasters.
