Supports have arrived at Six Flags New England

Posted | Contributed by sixflagsnews

Purple and black pieces signal the first arrivals for what will be a new B&M coaster. Six Flags News has a pair of photos.

[Ed. note: CoasterBuzz sources indicate that this will indeed be a floorless model. -J]

YES!!!  Finally a confirmation!
Heh heh heh...BTW, that post I made above was coming from my school's library.  Hehehe.

Anyways, why is everyone saying it's a floorless.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't ALL B&M track look the same?  Except for vertical because it's a much wider gauge.  Look, you cannot tell the type just by the track.  Wait until the official announcement.  For all we know, it could just be an regular sit-down...not a floorless or stand-up!

TPNE also has some photos of the supports, if you want to check out some besides the ones on SFNews.com.

Well, I've heard no "official" announcement or seen photographic evidence, so unless you have your sources (mine), there is no concrete evidence it will be a floorless.

But it will be. ;)

When's the last time a park built a stand up anyway? I'm not even sure a SF would want to deal with standups anymore, with their horrible loading problems.

I believe it was Riddler's Revenge, at a park in the US that is.

Was the last time that a standup was built.....FYI.

A great standup coaster that is very underated.

Beat me to it. *** This post was edited by T-Wolf on 10/9/2001. ***

I hope it's not a Medusa clone. Those costers are awesome but I want to see something new.
Well this all but confirms the plans that we have seen before and no it is not a clone of medusa if those plans were real.
Medusa clone? Medusa in itself was more of a clone of Kumba, than Medusa west was of Medusa east. You could say every B&M with the same pattern of inversions is a clone of each other, but seriously, no one really cares about this cloning nonsense. Coasters will inevitably resemble another, so you can only praise the ones that are original.

From the layout, one can only hope it will be intense for it's size, although you know B&M...

Coaster131, I post from my school all the time whenever I have free time there, anyhow this coaster should be cool.  B&M hasn't disappointed me yet, and I hope they keep up the good coasters through 2002!

Its a Floorless pure and simple, Jeff knows more than he says, Im sure hes right.
i hope this clears everything up for u guys
sorry coasterforce.com says it is going to be a bkf clone
Well whatever it is, I hope it shortens the line for SROS and they get a second train running again.
I kind of doubt that it will be a clone since the length and height of the ride is a lot shorter than all the other floorless in existance. i am digging the colors so far and hope the theming adds a whole new dimension to the ride and enhances the floorless experience.
The photos are a little blurry. If this coaster is going to be a floorless, then it's going to be a small one. Only 2,000+ feet of track!? Let's hope B&M can make a thrill machine with only that much length of track.
