Superman:The Ride

Has anyone ever ridden this ride it looks pretty cool.
But it might be rough because it is a Vekoma.
Which Superman are you refering to? The Superman:Ride of Steel coasters are all Intamin, the Ultimate Escape is Intamin, Krypton Coaster is B&M, who knows who made the Superman:the Escape in MM, cause I do not.

-------------
Personal Faves:
Hulk
S:ROS(SFNE)
Raging Bull
Beast
Raptor
Batman:TR
Vertical Velocity
Viper(SFGAm)
Dueling Dragons
Magnum
Intamin made S:TE
Superman: The Ride is indeed a Vekoma product. It is located in Six Flags Holland. It is an outdoor clone of RnRC @ Disney Studios.

That looks fun! It's cool to see what Rock 'n Rollercoaster looks like from the outside.

Also if I recall correctly the LSMs for S:TE were manufactured by Vekoma, but the ride itself was by Intamin, but I'm not really sure.

The S:TE is manufactured by Intamin and not by Vekoma. Furthermore, the Superman the Ride was the Rock 'N' Rollercoaster for DCA!!! In 1997 Disney ordered 2 Rock 'N' Rollercoasters for their parks (MGM-Studios and DCA). The one for DCA was canceled. DLP ordered one Rock 'N' Rollercoaster in 1999. Further, the Superman the Ride is very boring, only the launch is the fun, the rest is just a monorail.
That ride looks sweet
What a difference a Rock N Roller Coaster would have made in DCA. Why would they cancel what could have caused their park to be a big success instead of the opposite.
In retrospect, not a good idea!!

Before you get all riled up, that's not true man, just a rumor (and one I've never heard before)....Just like the 3rd Mr. Freeze that was ordered and has been sitting in storage at SFGAm for about 3 years now ;) (Anyone here remember that one!?)

If it's true, please submit proof ! (And can you send pictures of the 3rd Mr. Freeze that's in storage while you're at it ;) )

Because Disney designed the layout of this coaster.
Disneyland Paris has an enclosed clone of this ride & it's called "Space Mountain - from the Earth to the Moon." www.rcdb.com/installationdetail959.htm
This is other coaster, with a other launchsystem and layout.
Who said Disney has cancelled Rock n Rollercoaster for DCA? ;)
