Superman ultimate flight media day

I havent posted in so long and i doubt many of you even knew i existed on the boards, but since the season is starting up, i have been paying more attention to the coaster "world". i was origionally planning on going to great adventure friday the 18th to miss the crowds for media day on thursday, but now they are calling for thunderstorms friday, and i dont want to go on a weekend. how crowded will media day(thursday the 17th, superman's debut) be? will it be worth going on that day or should i wait for another time?

If I were you I would go on the 17th. I will be there. If you go on Friday and it starts to thunder the rides will shut down. I don't think that a lot of people will be there because it is so early in the season.

It probably wont be too crowded. But you also have to remember that its Spring Break so you might have some school trips there. Also, Superman will probably not be opening to the public until about 12:00pm since media day is at 10:00am, when the park opens.

I hope it is not crowded. I'll be there for the contest and hope that alot of people won't be in line for the other coasters after I ride superman first.
Superman opens to the public at 1:00 if anyone wanted to know.

Guessing from your SN that you have a GAdv. season pass. There's 3 hrs of night ERT (8-11) for season pass holders on Thurs. night.

I don't thnik it'll be too crowded because the weather has been pretty crappy and it's early season and it's a Thurs. afternoon (yes, some people actually work every now and then.) Of course, I've never been to a ride opening on a non-Sat., so....

Does anybody know how the crowds are on opening day for SFGAm? Thats when i am planning on going and I was wonderng if if would be crowded or empty judging by the past.
For the 17th ERT from 8-11 for season pass holders, does that apply for any six flags season pass or is it specifically for Six Flags Great Adventure season passholders only?
May 3(opening day) Last year the crowds for SFGAm were not to bad at all.But this year It might be different cause of SM:UF but I dont know.I say go I am going opening day.

I believe that it is open to any SF park season pass.

I agree with what he said because I live in Brooklyn and my high school starts spring break vaction on the 17th.

According to my season pass calendar, there's ERT from 8-11 for season pass holders only. I'd say that's your best bet- i only wish i could go!

Oh well, opening weekend was fun enough - all those walk-on rides on Medusa satisfied my off-season blues. :)
