Superman: Ultimate Flight @ SFOG

So SFOG is getting a B&M Flying coaster!

What happened to Alton Towers who I thought had secured the rights for it?

By the way TrBiggar, I don't call something that was OFFICIALLY announced today, old news!

I am very interested in seeing what the layout for this new B&M Flyer is going to be, especially the pretzel loop/ turn. The Alton Towers rights thing, I believe, was a rumor that simply snowballed. Unless, Alton knew B&M was going to sell another Flyer, and asked them to open  A.I.R. first.

I think B&M  might have opted out of an exclusive contract with AT.Remember what happened when Oblivion was designed and  AT had an exclusive contract for the ride and as a result B&M couldn't sell any more dive coasters for a set period of time and then other more innovative rides soon replaced the demand for dive coasters.

There was no exclusive contract. Companies don't do R&D just so they can not sell the product they developed.
