Superman: Ultimate Flight - is complete!

Well one of the reasons it was assembled so quickly is the very reason why it's gonna be awesome. Some of that track is mere FEET off the ground! They probably didn't need a crane for most of the track assembly, someone just held their hands up and soldered it themselves! ;)

2002 - Superman: Ultimate Flight - (2/15/02) My sources tell me that the last piece of track was bolted into place two days ago and they are hoping for an April 6th opening date.

edh101985 I hope your right because thats when I am going to SFOG. I hope its open because I might not ever be back since its about 800 miles away from where I live.

The park is pushing for an opening date sooner than April 6th. Since it's complete and awaiting trial runs, I wouldn't be surprised if it's open by the 23rd.

Maybe loading/unloading will be faster than X-Flight/Batwing... I mean it has new style seating and all...

Steve White said it! From the graphics, it looks like the loading will be pretty similar to the inverteds, which I think most guests are pretty used to by now. Loading seemed to be one of the problems with the Vekomas, and was at least partly responsible for the long lines...

Well, they can't start testing until the trains have arrived. Has anyone heard anything as to the whereabouts of the trains? I like the colors also. I think they just look good on B&M track. I like the S:KC colors also. But I like these like 10X better because of the yellow rails. Good color combo!;)
