Superman Tower of Power Question

Hey everyone! I was at SFSTL Saturday the 27th, and got to get my first ride on Superman. In the morning, I was watching the ride test, and noticed something that seemed a little off to me. Cars 1,2,3, and 6 ran smoothly as they fell. Car 4 was shutdown, which really wasn't that odd to me; but car 5 was different. Each time the car fell, the vehicle seemed to shake from the bottom. It almost seemed like the bottom of the car bounced off the base of the tower as it fell. I thought my eyes were just joshing me, so I came back later in the day, and noticed it again. Does anybody have an idea as to why the car did that?? Thanks :-D

The number one reason you know you are an engineer: The world revolves around you because YOU chose the coordinate system.
Maybe you should tell the opperators.

I am squeemish about telling ride-ops about issues I see. Even when I know there is an issue, rarely do they ever listen. The exception to that rule was when we were recently at SFGadv. We were in line for the back seat of Batman: Chiller (when it was running), and I leaned against the rail. The handrail broke loose, not too hard to do since half the bolts were gone. I fell and, and was injured. The ride-ops roped off the last row, but did nothing else, at all. After I went to guest services they radioed out to the crew at Chiller, confirmed the situation, and the ride was shut down immediately. I got some coupons out of the deal, but feel like I was the cause of the ride being closed for the last few weeks. LOL, sorrry if I was, but I hear its testing again, ;-)

Real men ride wood... coasters that is!
