Superman The Escape Backwards for Fright Fest!

i know its wishful thinking, but all theyd need to do is put some OTSR on the seats, and ur in business..but that'd be one hell of a ride!

the back weel is way bigger than the front. and thats for a reason . that will never happen . better chance they will perminatly run one side on collosus backwards permanintly
As much as I would love to go down that drop face first, I doubt the cars are capable of going trough the course backwards.

I agree with running one car on Collussus backwards, the ride rarely has a line and perhaps this would make it a little more popular.

Cedar Point- The Amazement Park!

They could probably make DeJa Vu go backwards, but then i don't see a reason since you do go through it backwards coming back through. ;)

Are you kidding me? Vekoma couldn't get the damn thing to work with the cars facing forward!

You know what would even be better. Ultimate Escape (at SFWoA) running backwards. Even switch the holding brake over to the spiral side. I know this is a crazy thought but....

"Well, I wouldn't say I've been MISSING it, Bob."

i cant think of a Magic Mtn ride that wouldnt be awesome going backwards...well, any coaster actually... in particular, i think any shuttle launch coaster would be awesome backwards. Speed would be amazing

I don't matter about the wheels, just reverse the seating on the chassis....
Give the man a round of applause for clever thinking! J/k.

Should this ever happen, the park will advertise "BYO duct tape for strapping your head to the headrest for obvious reasons."

Seriously, I'm impressed with the lapbars, you'd think this ride would require OTSR's! S:TE & T.o.T offer heaps of freedom. I dunno if they would use them if riding backwards.

Why not have a RRF/HS hybrid where the car rotates laterally once vertical? That would eliminate the whiplash of a reverse launch.

The above rides are the only 'Hypercoasters' I've ridden in the sense of lapbars only. Have never ridden a true Hyper wether it's by Intamin or Arrow or others (I missed the opening of Goliath by two freaking weeks! )

My question is, are the seats & lapbars of these rides anything like those on Intamin Hypers?

i agree with colin...it probably wouldnt take them more than a full day to reverse the car on the chassis of S:TE...ive never been to SFMM, but holy crap, i can only imagine what a 400 foot drop would be like face down!!!  (although ive heard it rarly makes it to the top of the tower)......
