Superman Re-opened at Six Flags NE

Great news Superman is flying high again at Six Flags New England. Lines were just as long today as if there was no accident.
Cool!
are they running just one train now, pending deeper investigation? NECN has a brief video
newsflash on the re-opening, declaring it was
a brakes failure that caused the accident:

They are running one train. The red train is still being repaired/inspected
It's good to hear that S:RoS is back up thrilling people.

Definitely -- woohooo!! I can't wait to get back on Superman -- it's an awesome ride from start to finish; I haven't been on the other 2 Supermen, but I can't help but believe that they would be let-downs after riding the one at SFNE
Was it a mechanical brakes failure or a computer failure? I'm assuming they had to determine before re-starting the ride, but maybe not - they ARE only running one train. Other S:ROS's are running 2 trains though, if I'm correct. And they'd have to inspect whatever part is was that was determined "at fault" at SFNE on the others, no?

It as a ruptured air line, as the news said, that caused the brake failure. So It was a mechanical failure. And the investigation has been completed after 12 days and six flags has stated that new satey measures are in place to insure that this will not happen again. I pray no more brakes!!!!
Hope that helps... -Chris
The Ride-Op I spoke with on Thursday stated they were shooting for a weekend opening for the ride. Being new here I didn't wanna spread any false information. Good thing casue he said Friday, and it didn't open untill today. Well glad to see it up and running. BTW it looked awefully funny with the test dummies in on Thursday...they were running tests all day into the night.
