Superman pretzel loop progresses at Great Adventure

Posted | Contributed by Chewman

With a two week period of below freezing temperatures, an unexpected mid-week snowstorm, and two days of mist and fog, construction on Superman: Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Great Adventure continues to progress. The pretzel loop is half-complete and the lift is now completely tracked, with the placement of the chainlift. It appears that most of the track and supports are now on site and ready to be installed and electrical work has begun. The station, brake, and transfer station are all under construction.

Is the coaster definetly going to open late? It seems as though it's progressing pretty fast.

I heard it will open late , like 2 weeks or so late. which isnt bad.
first off....that pretzel looks huge. i dont remember SFOG's being THAT big when i rode it this summer.....second, the track, in the pic, seems to stop at the ground without fully pulling out...is thing going to go into a trench or a tunnel?>
