Superman Power Tower

I think that SFOT should build an inside queue, like Dr. Dooms Fearfall. The theming was awesome there. Also this may help guest to get out of the hot Texas sun. What are your opinions/ideas?

I agree....it would indeed be essential but....I doubt it will happen...

Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone/B:TDK

The only Six Flags indoor queue that I have seen was S:ROS at SFNE. It is just the beginning of it and in the summer it is hot as all heck. They might possibly do it for a coaster but not a S&S tower set.

Have you hugged a Beemer today?

I believe SFAW's Freefall's queue is indoors, as well as SFFT's Log Flume. However, I doubt this will be indoors; just shaded.

But who knows? Maybe some of the webmasters/mods over at Lone Star Thrills and SFoTCoasternet would know.

Some of the rides off of the top of my head that have atleast a portion of the queue indoors, are Mr. Freeze. Batman: The Ride, Texas Chute Out, Runaway Mountain, and a few others.

Mr. Freeze's queue is air conditioned, and its really nice, but that was for themeing, and I jsut don't see an air conditioned queue for S:TOP.

There's a good chance it will use the shaded Air Racer/Missile Chaser queue. In the pics I've seen, the shade structure is still there.

Edit: Pics at LST show that this is indeed the case. The queue is being redesigned for use with S:TOP.

It may go inside a small building (the Chuckwagon Grill) at the beginning of the queue, but I'm not sure where the line will go.

Doesn't Greezed Lightnin' (Houston) have at least partial indoor queue? I should know this but I'm blank right now.

No, Greased Lightning is outdoors and Dungeon Drop at AW is indoors. I hope it is an inside queue

Disaster Transports indoor queue was really nice when I was in there last. It was VERY hot outside and it felt great getting in there and cooling off.

SFMM has S:TE queue themed to Superman's Ice Fortress. and they keep it really cool. True, on most days, the queue starts outside - quite a way from the building...but it does have an indoor and cool portion...

---Superman the ride...coming to a SF park near you soon...

That ride actually gets a line? Anyway, The Chiller's queue is also indoor. Skull mountain is very well shaded

Wasn't there supposed to be a *surprise* to this ride....(tilting seats or something else not seen on a previous S&S tower)...I seem to recall some info to that effect, way back when...

Personally, I'm more excited about PKD's Intamin drop ride, if only because I'll get to ride it...;)

Who knows, a surprise could still be coming... S&S stated that any ol' tower could be outfitted with the tilting seats correct? Who's to say they won't get them sooner or later?
