Superheroes!

The site with the BEST superhero scenery!

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/steveu01/index.htm

I recommend downloading the whole scenery file it's simply amazing!

I downloaded that scenery as well as the lego bricks a few days ago & can't get it to load into the game.
I've had no problems with it at all.

Where do you save it for it to open with the game?

Click on the superheroes link in the link above. Then click on the download superheroes scenery group.

Save the zip file to the rct2 object folder.

Extract all the files into the object folder. You should get this when you start the extract: C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\RollerCoaster Tycoon 2\ObjData\SUPER

Delete the SUPER in this, and all the items will be placed directly in the object folder. Start the game up and it should check for object data. Then all the objects should be in the game

Thanks, can't wait to build a twisted Dr. Octopus coaster!

I put it into the object data folder when I first downloaded it & started RCT2 which did check for object data.

The superhero as well as the lego brick icons show up in the scenery object selection screen( in the landscape editor) but do not show up in the scenery selection window after selecting it as one of the themeing options for the scenario.

ME TWO, can anyone help us

Did you guys unzip the file(s)? And make sure you delete the ZIP file(s) after you unzip them.
How do you UNZIP
You need an unzip program for your cpu. If you don't have one the file will look like a normal file, but it will still be zipped up at least on this computer it does. You can probably get a demo somewhere, but I would by one if I were you.

Here is a good site to to get a program which unzips things

how about an easier way for us to get the scenery, instead of downloading the files directly from the site just download a park that someone has made using the scenery objects.

It should import the files directly to the correct folder when you unzip the park file into the game, basically the same way the panda theming is installed automatically when you download & run the panda world scenario from the official site.

I downloaded the scenery because I had a superhero themed section in one of my parks. But I had to start all over since I needed to include the superhero option in the scenery section in the scenario editor. Its real awesome scenery, I really like it! Perfect for my superheros section, which I am currently working on since I started over on my park on Saturday.

I tried to run the park that I put the scenery into & every time I tried to load it would cause an access violation error which crashes the game.

In the end I had to recreate the same scenario minus the superhero & brick themeing in order to copy over the exisitng file, the objectives & park name are still the same though & I guess I'll just have to live without the extra theming for now at least.

Downloading that ZIP file, unzipping it, and placing the scenery objects in the OBJDATA folder was easy. I don't see as to why you can't do it as well.

Is there a easier way to download this? and what is the object folder?
can somebody just post a link to a park with the scenery(dosent have to be a park, just the scenery) Thanks in advance!

I am suprised some of you can even turn a computer on.

First click download, then open.

after all the files are listed, click select all, then copy

Then go to the rct2 folder, click objdata, and then clikc paste. They will then be installed. Its not that hard.....
