Superbowl Sunday vs Magic Mountian

We wanna go this sunday, and I know that we will pretty much own the park, but I was also wondering if you guys think that since its such an odd day to go to a theme park, are they going to understaff and not run at full potential?

Tape the bowl and go to Six Flags in remembrance of us northerners who don't have that choice.

well i know, the superbowl is gonna suck and we were going to go anywho, but what are the odds that they wont be completely staffed?

I haven't seen a Superbowl since the early-mid 90's and I don't plan on watchin it this year (although my roommates may watch it). I haven't done anything special either. just normal weekend stuff. and, just for the record, no, I'm not going to avoid the SB like the plague because the Bears aren't in it, but because I have better things to do than sit around watching an over-promoted game.

go to MM, have fun, and write a TR.

I wish I could goto MM. But, I get to stay here in Beach Park and do a marketing project over the commercials during the pregame, the game, the half-time show, the other part of the game and the post-game. Exciting, huh?

If I had that choice it would be the park all the way, then I would watch sportscenter where they will show you all the good parts of the game and the final score.

Definitley hit the Mountain! I would skip the superbowl and go to the mountain any time any day. I'm not that big of a fan of football as I am of Basketball so just head over to MM and have yourself a blast!

What are you guys thinking? Of course you should tape the game! Not for the football, but because of the commercials. :) If you don't you'll be out of the loop on Monday...

GO BEARS! Oh....wait.....dang it. Let's see: a torrential thrashing of that AFC team, or the latest and greatest coaster from Arrow......I know what I'd do! Who knows but the Rams may decide SFMM would be better too! I suppose that'll be a good Super Bowl victory destination!

Alright everybody...You can go to a park whenever you want. The Superbowl is only once a year. Yeah, you could be like the only one in the park but if you are a true sports fan, like myself, then you would stay and watch the game live. Don't tape it for the commercials. Yeah they're good but the biggest game on Earth is on.

Whoever says the Patriots have no shot is crazy. They didn't have a shot at the Steelers either, right? That's what everybody was saying. They proved them wrong. I knew they could do it and get to this point. Look back earlier in the season when the Pats only lost by 7 points to the Rams. The only reason they lost is because of Antowain Smith's fumble at the goaline. Now the Pats are more ready and even better than before. The Patriots will win the Superbowl.

Final Score: Patriots - 28 Rams - 25

It's going to be the Silence of the Rams baby. And yes, I am from New England.

To answer your question, I'll bet the park will be staffed acording to the attendance in years past. If it is dead at the park, I would expect to see some stuff close, but prolly none of the coasters, so you'll have a great time either way.
