Superb Theming - CoasterBuzz

After perusing rcdb for Europa, I noticed that their coasters are superbly themed. Check out "Euro Mir":

Note: Seems they are breaking tradintion by going with a B&M this year instead of a Mack. They ought to rename the park MackLand!

That is pretty cool theming, looks like a lot of tunnels, which are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks expensive too.

But costaers that weave in and out of tunnels, landscaping and especially structures are so much more fun than coasters built over parking lots.

Europa Park is owned and operated by Mack, which is the reason for all of the Mack rides. It is used sort of like a testing ground for all of their rides. If I remember correctly, the hyper-coaster is a joint effort between Mack and B&M with Mack helping out with some design and construction. I would love to go there, the theming looks wonderful.

Aha!!! Hence the great theming. Kinda like model homes in a new housing tract. I get it! Very cool!

Excluding Disney Parks and IOA, European parks do seem to put more effort into theming than US parks, look up Phantasialand / Parc Asterix / Alton Towers / De Efteling / Europa Park/ Chessington and compare with Paramount, 6 flags and Cedar Fair. I'm sure you'll agree.

Europa Park simply has the best theming I've ever seen at a park, and IMHO that includes Disneyland. Everything is in such an immaculate condition - from the pathways and gardens to the individual rides - and the theming is so authentic, you are instantly transported to wherever the park wants you to be.
