Super duper thrill rides...now!

Super Duper Thrill Rides is airing now on Destination America (10pm Eastern). There are additional showings all throughout the night. I don't know if it is new or not, but it seems like a pretty good show so far. Hope you get to catch it!

I saw it and thought it was pretty "dated". Nowhere near the quality that Nat-Geo and Discovery have put out in the past.

And the main commentators did not help either, that is for sure!

Oh, I don't know...they showed a few different rides than some of the other shows that they play ad nauseum on Travel Channel. I enjoyed it, but when it comes to coaster smut, I'm pretty easy to please. It really got me going to ride more coasters and maybe make some international plans some day.

The show's from 2012 according to my TV listings. I agree though, it does look dated. As far as the commentators, it seemed more like Robb and Elissa Alvey's Coaster Hour more than anything.

I did chuckle at the fan from Six Flags Great Adventure mention how there's "nothing like it in the world. nothing!" when describing Kingda Ka.

Well, technically, there isn't. There's something kind of similar, but it's 36 feet shorter, 8 MPH slower, and doesn't have a bunny hill.

Not that it's all that different, but for the sake of argument, it's one-of-a-kind.
