Suicidal person rescued at Elitch Gardens

Posted | Contributed by J.

Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park was closed Monday after a person entered the park and got up to the top of the Sidewinder roller coaster. Negotiations took place and the person was eventually brought back down to the ground.

See the video from KUSA/Denver.

I'm sorry to hear of so much pain and loss in your life, Corkscrew.

Yea. I'm sorry for your loss too, Corkscrew.

No need to apologize either; not to me anyways. I was seriously curious as to what disabilities we make fun of here. I'd like to think that the people who post there are above that. I can't think of a single time anyone has made fun of a disabled person on CoasterBuzz. I was looking forward to an example or three so I could make sure that I don't ever do it.

Someone posted on Facebook yesterday a photo of a little girl with Down Syndrome, and I commented that Kids with disabilities are Gods way of teach the rest of us love and acceptance. I am such a bully. lol

This topic is turning into a sissyfest. lol

I have felt the sting of depression a few times in my life as well. I found a way to get rid of it, and nowadays, I am better than I ever have been.

Might consider changing your user name to "NotSoLostKause". ;)
