S:UF SFGAm on Fox

If any one was wanting to know, they had a segment on S:UF. On fox there was the video showing the pretzel loopand other parts. I noticed that in the video that the ride was theamed. Also of what I saw was that on the right side of Superman there was like a little park,or something else it was all fast. The news lady said that GAm was very proud of this rollercoaster. Just to let some of you know that did not know.

Whats red yellow and blue at SFGAm...???
I must have just missed it or something, I just turned on Fox and all they have been talking about is the War against Iraq.

That lady would be Robin Robinson (yeah, I know, why would her parents do that. :) )

It was a nice little segment though.

If you look on the 2003 Park brouchure it has spots on it that mention Orleans Grill Pizza Orleans, etc. It appears that the Orleans Place theming will not be touched. I'm hopping the old Queue House for SW Will be a walk way to a small Metropolis themed area with a flat or 2, and the entrance to Superman. I think this would be cool, because S:UF isn't big enough to cover the entire Huge SW foot print. It would also be nice if Great America focuses on their theming some more too, maybe add a cajun themed ride to Powe Dives location, and fix Yankee Harbor's theming up a bit ;-)

Even if it was, its not going to change any of the other landscaping currently in Orleans Place. My view is that SFGAm is going to keep the Superman theme strictly for the ride and not infiltrate it into the rest of the area.

This coaster is going to basically be sticking out of the area expect for the entrance. The only Superman theme you will see in Orleans Place is where you enter. Its business as usual for all the other interests in OP.

Wait a minute, how do you have a 2003 park brochure?

Last night when I was trying to go to bed, I rolled over and hit the T.V. on. It was around 2:30 and the repeat of Fox News at 9 was just ending and I got to see the part about Superman. The segment was pretty good with a neat little video. I have been hearing on this site about a modified pretzal loop but in the video they showed the pretzal loop didn't look any different than SFOG's.

My guess would be that they are showing the exact same video from the SFoG launch of S:UF to save in production costs for press releases.

No it wasn't the same video, you could see Raging Bull and Deja Vu in the background during one of the turns on the onride video.
