The site is still under construction with landscaping and architectural details still to be installed. A 12 hour work session was completed on Friday, so everything should be pretty close to finished for opening.
Theme is set to the comic version of Superman. Less a "Fortress of Solitude" but much more than a "Ride of Steel" or "Ultimate Escape." It's set in a separate little plaza section of the park - with special details.
But the biggest entertainment in the queue is the sound and look of trains flying overhead.

Themeing? Are we talking about Six Flags here? HA! Themeing!
The plaza for S:UF is great (except for the upside down "S". Can they not tell that it's backwards?) It is themed very much to the comic book with huge "strips" showing each of his superpowers in detail.
The que is pretty typical Six Flags. A few signs slapped in the ground with the superheros and supervillians on them and some pretty lackluster information on each of them. Other then that the que is barren. I pray it will look better when the landscaping is done.
The stations themeing consists of the red and yellow trains and that's about it. The airgates have the logo for superman on the station side of the que. That's it.
Now the ride on the other hand is a beauty of engineering. A masterpiece of metal. A gracious gratifyer.....shall i continue? lol

Flying over metal is a beautiful thing!
