Greetings, Chitown.
The trains hang below the track. They are somewhat high above the platform, so you have to boost yourself up into them. The seats are quite comfortable, though the harness seems bulky (don't worry, there is no headbanging as you go up the twist - major plus). After you are buckled in and the ride ops do their thing with checking, the operator says "all clear" and before you even know it, you are blasted forward towards the twist. The first three or four seats go up the twist the first time.
As you go backwards, the LIMS kick in again and this time you go full blast through the station. Mind you, the people waiting in queues are a complete blur when this happens. The train makes it all the way up the straight spike. The train makes a quick stall and freefalls back through the station, and probably with a little help from the LIMS, the train goes ALL THE WAY up the twist - WOW. Even from the second seat, all you see is sky and the big red twisted track - nothing around you! Again you freefall and race ride through the station and up the straight spike where the ride stops you for a brief second - all while you are looking STRAIGHT DOWN to the ground. Then you are let go and head back to the twist again (you don't go all the way up - it's pretty much like the first launch). As the train makes its way backwards, the brakes kick in and you are glided back to the beginning. Once you get off, you are completely amazed at what just happened.
It's a ride you don't want to miss!
