I live in Manlius NY, a suburb a Syracuse. About say 30 years ago there was a park called suburban park. My mom said she used to go there as a child, and it had a rollercoaster like the Jack Rabbit at Seabreeze. I recently was at a restaurant called Waffle Works and on the wall they had old pictures of Manlius. I noticed a picture on the wall of a wooden rollercoaster and it appeared to be a side friction rollercoaster! It looked like an out and back coaster with about a 50+ foot drop.It was supposely closed about 20 years ago and now there is apartment buildings there. Does anyone know more about this park and its side friction woodie? Even if was a side friction woodie I'd still like to have a park so close! Closest is Seabreeze (11/2 hour) and sfdl (21/2 hour)

This is the only place I've ever seen this park mentioned. Apparently they had a Schiff Wild Mouse in the fifties.
