Well from your comments It looks like a split decision on the 2 so could you submit your opinion on what type it will be and then explain why you think its a floorless/standup.

I think it's going to be a stand-up because Six Flags America was going to to build one, but they cancelled it.

It's rumored to be built at Six Flags New England.

I think it is a stand-up because floorlesses are not 120 ft, they are more like 150 ft. Stand-up are more like 120, an article said the ride would be 120.

When are they making the announcement?

I hope soon!

Stand-Up Or Floorless, it doesn't matter, I'm Hoping for the Matrix for the theming!

Batman would be too boring and out of place!

The standup destined for SFA was simply a rumor; there is probably no basis that there are plans for a standup, drifting around waiting for a location at a Six Flags parks.

Quite frankly, I don't care what it is.  I am excited that we are getting one.  It will be great having S:RoS, Cyclone, and this coaster.  I think it will be a floorless because on the plans it shows interlocking corkscrews.  Unless this is the first stand-up coaster with interlocking corkscrews, it won't be a stand-up.  Also consider having a tunnel at the bottom of the first drop, it would make a total drop of around 140 ft.  That sounds like a floorless if you put it that way.

for those that think that it can't be a floorless due to height:  height does not limit a coaster's category (sans hyper/giga).  just because B&M haven't made a small floorless doesn't mean that they can't or won't.  it simply means that they haven't to date.  if inverteds were limited to the 100' range then we'd never have Alpengeist or Great Bear.

Why not just wait until they announce it.

(It's a floorless or looper, not a stand-up.)
