stuck peeps in RCT

I'm very new to RCT, and RCT 2. After digging through the archives, I can't find any thread that covers what I'm getting stuck with. So, please don't flame. I'm just asking. :)

One thing I have noticed is a few peeps that get stuck at an entrance and block out others from riding. Are there any ways to remove them? I've noticed this in RCT and RCT2.

Thanks.
Laura

I don't remember ever running into that problem. The majority of peeps make it in ok?
Oh it happens when only one person goes inside the "little building" and then someone comes up behind them then but the train has already left so the person that went in comes back out but there is some one there and they like get stuck or somthing.

I don't know how to get it better though... sorry.

I'm not sure if thats what your problem is or not but I think it's somthing like that. *** Edited 2/2/2005 4:07:32 AM UTC by Corkscrewy***

i'm not sure what to put here..

What Corkscrewy describes can be fixed by building long enough queue lines into the ride entrances. I couldn't figure out why nobody was riding my amazing coasters in RCT2, when I realized there was no place for my peeps to stand in line. I didn't realize they couldn't queue in the stations...

But then again, what do I know?

Think of it in more real life terms, is there a coaster in real-life that does not have a que? or even thrill and gentle rides have ques even small ones! So it would be nice to think like that,...it should help you alot! ;)
I've had some really long queue lines and that has happened. She wants to know how you can move that person.... besides closing the ride.

If your talking about the peep that enters the building to get on the ride, they don't get out until the next available is available to enter upon the ride. peeps do not get stuck, you just have to be careful how the ride is run, and how long the que is. I've played for years, and mastered this game, if you know how to do it, there should be no problems at all.
Like if someone comes up to the building and is right behind it and the train is leaving then someone comes out and runs into the person. I'm not sure there is a way to move them because you can't pick them up so ... what you just have to run them better?

I've given adding to the queue a try. I also sat down and read through the RCT2 booklet. RCT didn't come with one, so I was flying blind. Thanks all for the advice. I greatly appreciate it! :)

RCT has a manuel even if its not physical if you have Adobe Acrobrat Reader, you can go to (hard drive) C:/program files/atari/rollercoastertyoon and look for a file called manuel, if you have an older disk the directory would be:

C:/program files/hasbro interactive/rollercoastertycoon the same file should be there.

If you have any further questions, post them!

This question is sort on the same lines:
Has anyone had a large group of people sort-of just stuck together in a single square of a pathway? (this is on a flat terrain, so i know it isn't an uneven path issue.)
I could not get them to move. i clicked a person and tweezered them off, and they just walked back into the crown. What i eventually did was to build a coaster that smashed into them like bowling pins, knocking them everywhere. That seemed to work. Odd.

ok in rct2 you could pick up a guest by finding them using the guest list and then pick them up and move them with the tweezers. not sure if this would work with the patched version of rct3 since i can't get rct3 to run smoothly on my system... yes my system met the requirement but the game is still to slow to even make it usable after putting in more than a few coasters.

Watch the tram car please....
I do know in rct3 you can pick them up with tweezers and move them. and since i run decently with rct3 its not hard to do so. although I love crashing them into guests, they fall like bowling pins, ha ha ha! (kind of evil i know)
