Storm Runner Restraint Question

Personally, I'd like to see Intamin take the Storm Runner lap bar and use it without the shoulder bar component. It would be a much better design than the lap bars used on, say, Millennium Force, and it would be a huge improvement over what Storm Runner now uses.

Hey, that's pretty much EXACTLY what Setpoint did for Roller Soaker, and it works great...!

My friend got jacked pretty hard in the head by SR's OTSR's in those final turns right before the brakes. I, on the other hand, had no problems at all.

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

Personally, I don't care for them much. I'm around 6'4" and 190 lbs, and they just aren't the most comfortable throughout the ride. The last time I rode it wasn't too bad, though I had my hands up on the shoulder portion to cushion or brace myself or whatever.

I also don't like the fact that the headrests don't come up very high for tall folk. PKD's XLC, on the other hand, has headrests that are plenty high and work well.

I think I might like the one's on SR better if they were cushioned more--like wrap something with foam around the upper portions or something. Or maybe Dave's suggestion would work :)
