It's OFFICIAL. It's settled right there. The release date for the game is the 15th of October.

This is for those that have seen dates like October 8, 1, 10, 16 from retail stores, ads, and web-sites.

No, there was a lot of confusion as to what the release date was. Different retail store web-sites and stores had different dates, and it got confusing. Some had October 1, October 24, October 8, October 16, October 10.

Yeah, and? Retail is never right. Why would you trust a third party over what the official site said? There was never any "debate" as far as I'm concerned.

That may be true, however I work at Best Buy and I know for sure that the game is arriving on the 10th to the store. We may not put it out on the shelf until the 15th, but it will be in store onthe 10th.

Release date. The game's probably already being produced and in some cases, shipped out, but it won't be released in stores until the 15th correct?

At rollercoastertycoon.com it says on the first page RCT2-Oct 15! Seems pretty obvious to me.
