Still ride Iron Dragon?

The first time i went to cedar point in 99 iron dragon really caught my eye. after power tower i was looking at it and it really looked cool. its a neat ride to have at a park i think it adds alot to cedar point. it may not be the best but its one of the best park.

Have any of you ever ridden the Big Bad Wolf at BGW? That's my favorite suspended. Sure I would still ride Iron wolf because it is a suspended and it's a coaster. If it's a coaster i'll ride it.

If the wait is 15 minutes or less, I ride it. I will agree that BBW at BGW is better, but like Jeff said, variety is a good thing.

I sometimes ride the iron Dragon, it is a very smooth and enjoyable ride but during the afternoon it usually has at least a 30 minute wait and its just now worth it.

Is the Iron Dragon still worth riding? I've never even ridden it before, and I named myself after it! Of course it's still worth riding, if I could just get to it! I might add that the mighty Iron Draggon is very much worth riding as well, but only once or twice is definitely not enough!

I love Iron Dragon. It goes a little faster now

I like to ride it right after I have a meal. The coaster is a great way to take a break from the bigger coasters, with usually a small wait. It's fun when you sit in the front with the wind in your face, (until a mufflehead passes by) and watching the neat scenery. It is a very relaxing ride.

Has anyone ever noticed the tight clearances in the pretzel? I was watching trains go through the final pretzel on my trip a couple weeks ago. When the train first enters the pretzel after coming out of the trees and down the hill, it crosses over the lower track section. I swear the guide wheels on the bottom of the cars come within a very short distance of the main pipe on that lower track! Very cool to watch! Freaked my wife out. hehe

I Thought Irion Dragon was alot of fun during the day At night its a difrent storie littel did i know coming from NYC what it would be like at night in the front seat!! lets say it felt like it was hailing bugs! i was covered in them i had to keep my head down with a big infront my face the whole ride. but at day time i love that ride its alot of fun. it lacks a lil spee but what do you want its form the 80's back then coaster dident go 90mph anyways i like it and when i go back im sre to bring everyone on it.

Even though I like Top Gun (PKI) and Big Bad Wolf better, maybe even Ninja too, but Iron Dragon has the best element of them all..the pretzel helix. It's a fun ride, not scary, but fun!

I havent ridden ID since I was 6. With Magnum and Gemini in the same park, its kinda hard to ride ID. It is a fun ride though.

CrystalKat - I got lucky to get on it. I rode it with my friend's little brother. I think I was a bit big for it, but I fit! LOL. Also the Woodstock Express is a nice little coaster. More intense than I thought it would be! hehe.

In my opinion, any coaster is worth riding! Besides, its not a bad coaster at all... I remember riding it and completely enjoying myself, even if it lacks the intensity of the other CP heavy-hitters.

I would much rather ride any other coaster at the park than Iron Dragon. I've only ridden the ride a handful of times (which was plenty). I see it as lost opportunity to ride another, better, coaster at the park.
