step by step

does anyone remember the show Step by Step with Suzanne Summers in it. it hink it was on friday night about 8 years ago. In the begining the family is riding up a roller coaster. i cant figure out what, if its a real amusement park, it is. anyone have some ideas. the park is on the edge of the ocean, or lake.

Yup, its Magic Mountain alright. I think the ride is Colossus. Oh and the water was put in there to make it look like it was right on the beach.

Speaking of Suzanne Summers, what was the park that was used for the entrance credits on Three's Company?

Yep, they edited the lake to where the parking lot is. Looking at it today, it wasn't done very well

I always noticed how during one shot you could see the parking lot in the background and then in the next shot it was next to a lake.

By today's standards that wouldn't cut it.
