Between studying and everything else, I don't get much time to post or read, so I don't know if this has been brought up before. I can't find it where I've looked anyway.
I was searching through patent applications and came across this. I converted it to a PDF and put it on my webpage, so anyone can view it. (I have more PDF patents on there if anyone is interested)
Anyway, it looks really interesting, but it seems doubtful that it will ever be made. Although for all I know it might be being constructed somewhere right now. Just wondering if anybody had any details on what this is, and how often these patents materialize into actual rides.
This one in particular seems possible. At least from an engineering standpoint it seems like given the right attention it could be made simply and safely. The most complicated part would be making sure that the trains can't fall unless the track is lined up, but I believe even the solution to that problem is obvious and easily reached.
Thoughts?
