That is exactly what I want. I'm hoping there will be an option to change the drops to the exact degree of steepness you want. I am also hoping you will be able to make inversions the exact height you want. It would be cool if for hyper coasters they had the turnaround of S:RoS.This better not be just another expansion pack.

S:RoS ( SFNE ) is #1!
You might or might not know this, but some coaster types in RCT already have the steep lifts. The Vertical, Steel Wild Mouse, Inverted Wild Mouse, and Wood "Crazy Rodent" types do; I'm not sure if there are any others.
Also, I hope that the Intamin hyper/giga coaster type has vertical drops; that way, I can make Millennium Force clones or near-clones for my parks. I'm also considering a "giga-twister" coaster, again using the Intamin.

Joe, I realize that RCT is a new game but its the same layout and stuff and the game play is the same. The only difference is smart peeps, more rides/features, bigger map, scenario editor, ect. I know you buy it w/out the original but even so its not that much different, just an update.
Yes, you can have banked drops and hills.

45* lifts
75* or 80* drops, that works best
we already have 30* 60* and 90* and that isnt enuf, and it takes out the realism, to make a good MF we need 45* and 80*
and anyway if there was 45* we could do real B&M camelbacks in the special menu.
AND WE NEED GIANT DROPS!!!!!!

Just remember that each piece of track has to fit into a three-dimensional grid, and has to start and end in predictable places in predictable ways, so that it can join with other sections of track. This greatly limits the available angles that "work", so you'll never see the ability to specify an exact angle or anything. As an example, notice how LONG the steep downhill track is. If you want it steeper, it'd have to be even longer than that, which wouldn't be too useful (think how tall the minimum sized hill would have to be in order to use that section of track).

The way the graphics are designed, you cannot have custom-steepness hills, and you can't get new drop angles unless Sawyer decides to add a whole butt-load of new graphics to the game.
From the looks of the editor in the old screenshots, besides going vertical (which isn't new), he hasn't.

Superdude, sounds like a drastic enough change to me to call it RCT 2.
And BTW has anyone noticed that 30-60-90 is geometrically a type of right triangle? (30-60-90 Triangle)? Perhaps the ride graphics and/or physics are centered around that kind of geometry, and he can't change it... (But if that's the case, why no 45 degree hills?)
My nickels worth of free advice.
