One word NITRO.
Kennywood kept the station, lift and first two drops, adding a few feet to the big one. The also took out the inversions and re did the rest of the layout. I didn't ride it yet but I'm sure someone here can help you out.

Hello, My name is Dan and I'm a coasterholic.
The loops were removed and replaced with a swooping turn and airtime hops.

The trains were renovated as well, so there are no more OTSR'S.

Kennywood kept the station, lift hill, first drop, and then extended the 2nd drop 5 more feet than the previous 225 feet. The first part of the ride was designed by Arrow from 1991, and the rest was redesigned by DH Morgan.

The end result was amazing. Totally new shells for the trains were built that removed the shoulder restraints and added lapbars. The new ride is smoother, faster, and, in my opinion, better than the Steel Phantom.

Phantom's Revenge is one of my favorite coasters. Morgan actually made the second drop steeper and about 5 feet longer into the ravine. It then goes up into a 270 degree curve, drops down, goes around the Turtle, then heads back to the station with a series of intense bunny-hops.

Maybe this will help: http://badnitrus.danimation.com/Phantom/PR_Layout02.gif
