Steel Phantom

This question is strictly for the Steel Phantom-not for the Phantom's Revenge:

What is the height of the first drop plus the second drop minus the first hill.

Thanks if anybody can help me.
225 ft.
The first drop is the same as the hill's height(no ravines there)

Fear the Wrath of the Phantom!
The first drop is 160 ft. Then it climbs up 140 ft. Then drops the 225ft down the ravine

So does that make the net elevation difference 245 feet? I think that's what the original post was asking.

coasterpunk is incorrect. The second hill climbs 115 feet, not 140. Currently, the second drop is 225 feet, so the total difference in elevation from the top of the lift to the bottom of the second drop is 270 feet (225-115,+160).
Thats right Don. I took a picture of the Ask Mr. Physics stats next to the first drop (near the Music Express). I couldn't find the picture to get the stats so I was guessing. Sorry :(

The way that the question is phrased, it seems to ask how tall the first hill is. Can you rephrase, coastergenius?

On the Mr. Physics sign it says that the height difference from the top of the lift hill to the bottom of the second drop is 280 ft. u drop 155 ft, climb 110, and then fall 225. thats how u break 80 mph at the curve at the bottom of the hill.

I thought I was in the ballpark with my first stats. Just wasn't exactly positive. I do remember the 280 ft. differance from the top of the lift to the bottom of the second drop. I still can't find that picture either. :(

KennywoodCoasterFan:

Even if you add your numbers up, it still equals 270 feet, not 280.

Here's how:
155+225=380. This would be the total if both hills were "stacked" from top to bottom. Since you go up (according to you) 110 feet before falling the 225 feet, you must subtract that 110 feet from the total.

380-110=270. So, it's 270 feet using either your numbers or mine. :)
Kennywoodfan, the equation:

The First Drop-
the first hill+
the second hill
