Steel Hawg opening soon

^^ Wise ass - S&S isn't Intamin - lol.

^ Wow, glad to see it opened and hear that there isn't any headbanging. Why would it be a capacity nightmare - how many trains are they running?

Tom

Thom.. Yes I watched it test for a while, very smooth and I thought it had great pacing.

I was surprised at how fast it rolled through the two mid-course break runs. (I know that can change though.)

The only element that I thought might seem a bit rough on riders, was the 180 degree twist, into the inverted dive. (you are inverted for a bit.. and this could cause some shoulder discomfort..)

I was also impressed with the lift hill speed, which was very quick.

I think loading times will improve in the future, I have faith in the staff. (I hope they don't make me eat my words.)

Thom...it only has 4 cars, seating 4 passengers per car. *** Edited 7/7/2008 4:08:13 AM UTC by Donny***

Glad to hear about the pacing, the video really showed it off as well. I was surprised how fast it was - WOW.

How long did it take to load the water dumbies? jp

Tom

Brian and I rode it yesterday. It was great fun and not painful as I had originally thought it would be. It is wonderfully smooth and intense. I made a video and posted a trip report on the website below.
