Steel Dragon 2000...the king?

truly sorry to keep posting so damn much. just got a lot I've wanted to ask/discuss.

if there's anyone here that has had the rare advantage of going to japan and riding the Steel Dragon 2000, can they please give me a real opinion of the ride? I keep hearing its no match for MF in the giga world, but it seems to get all the publicity when the 300 foot barrier is mentioned, at least before the breakdown...how good is it...really?

The main reason it got publicity was its $50 million price tag and that it was the tallest, fastest coaster in the world. Not because it was good.

Does anyone know if it will ever re-open?

Demo - there has been a lot of discussion on Steel Dragon, why it it closed, and if it'll ever reopen including a recent discussion not more than a few weeks ago. In fact the "will it ever reopen?" questions comes up about once a month it seems.
