Steel Dragon 2000 queries

I rode the Steel Dragon just yesterday. Amazing ride, but I wonder how many of you have been to the park to find the ride shut down due to wind or rain. Its a long way to travel for disappointment. After 4 hours of delays they opened the ride, but only after they wiped the tracks down. REALLY!
