Staying at Hershey Park

Greetings! I am planning a trip to Hershey Park in early to mid-August and am looking for a nice place to stay. I have investigated the Hotel Hershey and Hershey Convetion Center but they seem a bit pricy to me. Just wondering if anybody has any other suggestions on nice places to stay in Hershey which are reasonably priced and within close proximity to the activities? Any suggestions would help. I hope everybody is enjoying their holiday weekend!

Pick up a AAA book, there are hundreds of places (literally) in that area. You may have a 15 minute drive, but to save half the room rate, it's worth it to me.

I think last time I went there I stayed in a place called the Cocoa Hotel or Hotel Cocoa or something like that. Then again, there are many chocolaty themed names there...

I live 20 minutes from there and have a season pass to Hershey. If you don't mind staying about 15- 20 minutes from the park there are alot of nice hotels with pools for around $40 a night.
