Does anyone know the reasoning behind Vortex only running 2 trains so far this year?
My guess would be that they're doing some standard maintenance to help performance, but does anyone know for sure?

1) Which Vortex, there are a bunch!
2) Alot of rides don't operate all 3 trains. AC hasn't yet.

If FoF got that great of a makeover than why can't I?
PKI's Vortex, which has been using 3 trains since 1987.

PKI runs everything with two trains. It is irritating when they could run three. Well at least it was like this when I as there last and this year.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
Usually they run two trains on Vortex, and Adventure express when they are open weekends only. However, sometimes they will run all three on weekends. Regardless, all three trains should be on and operating by the end of the month. However, because the Vortex is being painted, they might only allow two trains untill after the paint has had some time to set up.

Paramount`s Kings Island-something big is coming for 2002, the park`s 30th anniversary!
In the last two years, they will run all 3 on Vortex and Adventure in the summer, and take one off for spring and fall, which I don't like.
I always hate when I go to PKI and there is only ONE train running on Face/Off! ;)
But one thing that does piss me off a little lately is one train operation on KC. Don't be mad at PKI's 2 train operation. A lot of Six Flags parks only have 1 train operation(SFKK, SFNE, SFA to name a few). And at least all of the rides are actually open. I think all of the coasters at PKI are on 2 train op for now. They usually get all of them up by summer. Hopefully, SOB and FOF will finally get their 3rd train. It would be really nice if a second could go on RRR. They have enough space. Parks don't want empty queues though.

The First and Only Gigabuzzer bigger than Millie, rising Faster than Maggie, and pulls more BS than MS ever will!!!
When I rode the Beast on April 7th they were running three trains. I think the Beast is always running three trains.

In 2000, I had the privelge of being on the first ride for the general public on The Beast in 2000, after they had a technical difficulties and took one of the trains off because of a lap bar problem.
