Station Question

Ive been trying to figure this out for a while and i just am unable to do it, how exactly do you put roofs above ground? Whenever I try to do it they go on the ground and not on the walls or whatever. Also, how do you stack things on top of each other? (custom supports)

They always go on the ground first, just click on the object, then raise it up.

Push the shift key and lift.

Easy mistake, I guess.

I'm just wondering if anybody reads the instruction book anymore. Amazingly it has all the answers to the questions you may have about playing the game. The extra benefit is that it's usually quicker than logging on, getting to this site (or others), asking a question and waiting for a reply. You already paid for lifetime access to this amzing document - it was included in the purchase price of the game!
