ok we did the best food, best coasters. How about now we do the state with the most (OPERATING) coaster. Son Of Beast will only count as a half since is usually not operating.

Pennsylvania has a total of 40 on the Coasterbuzz list. Although I know Williams Grove is adding a portable Wildcat this year. That will make PA's total 41.

Ya Windjammer is closed I suppose....I forgot about that one. You're about the only one who thought it was fun, lol. It's still 44 tho.
Wow Ron, where you gettin the 58 count? Definitely not 58 operating...especially with Americana not quite open yet. Counted 37 on Jeff here's site...if there are 58 Jeff's missin something lol. Remember, this is operating coasters so we can't count the old Idora Park or anything like that....

6 days until I start at CP!
I count 56 for California. It may be only 49 though, since I'm not sure if all of these parks still have operating coasters. Does anyone know for sure?
Frazier's Frontier
Funderland
Funderwoods
Happy Hollow Park and Zoo
Blackbeard's Family Fun Center
Pixieland Park
Rotary Storyland
Here are the other parks totals.
2 Adventure City
1 Belmont Park
1 Castle Amusement Park
4 Disneyland
5 Knott's Berry Farm
1 Legoland California
1 Pacific Park
9 Paramount's Great America
1 Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom
3 Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
2 Scandia Amusmement Park
12 Six Flags Magic Mountain
6 Six Flags Marine World
1 Upland Family Fun Center
FYI, Happy Hollow took out their kiddie coaster years ago. Not sure about the others.
But you did forget to list the wild Mad Mouse at J&J's Amusement Park in Guernville. And Legoland will open Spellbreaker later this month, a pair of racing family suspended coasters.
With all the great parks out here and year round operation, Cali has always had the most coasters of any place on the planet, hands down, even without a coaster war. Now that the coaster wars have finally hit the West Coast, look out! 4 already confirmed for next year, 3 more giants rumored(KBF, SFMM, and SFMW), 2001 will be even bigger than this year!
If it's not in the database, feel free to add it in the contribute section as long as you can complete most of the stats. Please search for it first... it's amazing how often I get duplicates of obvious rides (MF, SOB, Goliath, etc.).
