Haunted Ohio Parks...you've been warned!!

I think Chicago, Aurora, southern Jersey, Maryland are all supposed to have similar weather (at least last time I checked, and that was earlier this week). I think this weekend might prove to be one crazy closing weekend for all parks as long as people still realize they're open! I'll be at SFWoA getting my last impulse launches of the season!

FYI, 2001's final weekend was nowhere near a record.

Believe it or not, The record weekend wasn't open to the public but a GE's days a few years back

Chuck, who does think it will be very crowded

And those are the reasons Im not going on Saturday
I wouldn't be caught dead at PKI in November. I went on that beautiful final weekend of 2001, and the line for Adventure Express was winding about on the midway. Nuff said.

I was kind of hoping for cold weather tomorrow, which is very unlike me, but now I expect PKD will be a mob scene.

The problem with parks like PKI and the end of the season is a couple things:

First, they are down to a skeliton crew

Second, some rides have been closed already or not staffed for various reasons (PKI's scrambler)

Third, some coasters that were three trains during the summer have been reduced to one or two trains to make up for smaller crowds (which sometimes are as big as summer crowds)

Fourth: I can't think of a fourth

Fourth: They gave free tickets for this weekend to those who bought 2004 passes this fall.

Edit: Fifth: Fear Fest is included.

I will be there Sat and Sun, but I fully expect the crowds. This weather is just awesome! This is probably the warmest Halloween I have experienced in years.

Gimme speed, height, airtime and plenty of LAUNCH!!!

Everyone guessed right. I got caught by the survey lady with the palm pilot sunday, and just had to ask. PKI projected 31,000 for saturday, over 50,000 showed (she couldn't remember exact figure). Sunday seemed even more crowded.

I'd expect PKD to have had similar numbers. It was indeed the mob scene I was expecting. Fortunately, I was able to get some decent night rides in since most of the lines were for the FearFest attractions.
