Starry Sky Ripper - Whah!

I tend to be very 'meh' when it comes to most B&Ms (except Great Bear and Apollo's Chariot - love them), but this new one looks pretty good. The first 2/3rds of the ride looks to be very daring for a B&M design. Love all the "Wha!" responses in the video. "It's Twisty" indeed!

Wow, that looks really good! I love how steep the first drop is. Fast-paced all the way to the end.

That looks very, very cool! That drop, and some of the inversions...I really wish that was stateside!

How about the 2 ground hugging runs while inverted and one of those is through a tunnel.

very cool - the "lie to fly" element as RCDB describes it looks amazing.

That looks amazingly fun, but I didn't realize they let Mario ride roller coasters.

^hehehe! The "Wha's" added a great non-American charm to the video.

Looks to be a decently disorienting while featuring a number of "flying" segments. Hopefully a park over here builds something like that.

I miss the dip. I know they haven't designed it on the flyers, but it looks like the upcoming Parc Asterix inverter won't have it either. As mediocre of a ride as Raging Bull is, the initial drop makes it a worthwhile ride because of the dip. I enjoyed Goliath, Diamondback, Behemoth, and Nitro, but that little dip would have made them all so much better. The first drop on Apollo and Raging Bull are something special.

This ride looks incredible! As far as the dip goes, I couldn't agree more. Raging Bull's drop is Way better than Diamondback or Behemoth because of the Dip. However, Phanotm's Revenge has the best drop of any Hyper I've been on!

Really? I didn't get much out of Phantom's drop at all (except for diving through the Thunderbolt). To me it's biggest flaw is that it's not very steep and so it doesn't generate much in the way of airtime.

Now everything after that is airtime city, but the drop isn't that great to me.

I do enjoy drops with the dip, but I also enjoy being completely catapulted out of the back row as the train is yanked down the drop ala NTG, El Toro, or S:RoS.

I get catapulted out of the back seat going down Phantom's second drop, more than SROS and El Toro. I think it's infinitely a superior ride.

Agreed! Phantom is my favorite steel coaster.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

The first time I experienced that drop, back when it was still SP, I think I nearly wet 'em.

I guess I must have gotten it on a bad day (well, actually 3 days over 5 years, but...). I've never gotten catapulted on the big drop but that doesn't stop it from being in my top 5 steel.
