Starliner & Carousel to remain at Miracle Strip

I was very excited to hear this news today. It appears that the Starliner and Carousel will remain as stand alone attractions similar to what Belmont Park did with the Giant Dipper in San Diego. Word should reach the wire later this week. Yippeee!!!

rollergator's avatar Hmmmm, talking with the park's GM only yesterday, it sounded like that (Starliner remaining intact) was a distinct possibility, but it sure sounded like he was "hopeful" more than expectant about the future of the coaster...

I hope you have good info, Starliner is maintained *meticulously*, and is a surprisingly intense ride, esp. when compared to the other John Allen beachside coasters...

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

This is a great relief if it pans out. Several of us had been TRYING to get to Miracle Strip this year before it vanishes out from under us, but were having trouble with the actual planning. It would be welcome news if Starliner remains intact.

I've heard that this is the plan but nothing is final.
