stark raven mad: registration time?
I was kind of wondering the same thing. The flyer said that everyone will gather in the theater at 6:00pm while the park clears. What if one were to arrive in the morning?

Judging from last year...
The cost of the event does not include admission to the park before 6pm on Friday. You could probably show up any time you want and register for SRM (you do so outside of the park), but won't be allowed within the gates until the event starts at 6pm.

See, I had to take the entire day off for the 5 hour drive south and I was planning on leaving the night before and camping. Perhaps there are other points of interest in the area that I can explore.

HW is the most accomidating park I have ever seen and they work with ya but just make sure you get the OK first.
Chuck, who says it's best not to just assume anything and registration last year was all day but you could not enter friday until the park was closing to the GP unless you had made other arrangements

Okay...here's what we've got planned:
1. Registration for SRM begins at 9:30 am CT Friday and will continue all day and even through the evening ERT.
2. The event begins at 6 pm CT Friday...however we'll let you in the gate at 5 pm if you want to catch a few rides before the park closes to the public.
3. Your registration packet includes an all-day admission ticket which is intended for use on Saturday. However it's okay to use it on Friday if you like (Friday or Saturday are the only days those tickets are valid).
4. If you use the all-day ticket for Friday, then you won't be able to get in on Saturday (unless you purchase a separate ticket) until the evening ERT.
5. If you wish to purchase a ticket so that you can enjoy the parks all-day Friday *and* Saturday...show your coaster-club card and the price is $14.95.
6. To get in early Saturday morning for the ZOOMbabwe ERT (and breakfast), you must have an admission ticket for the day. So if you used your Saturday ticket on Friday--you'll need to purchase a Saturday ticket.

That is awesome news about keeping the gate open even after the event starts! Thanks for realizing people come from away and can't always be there right when the event starts.
This will make it much easier and I won't feel rushed as we're coming from Six Flags St. Louis.
Once again I have to show love for Holiday World, they really know how to please their guests!
