Stark RAVEN Mad '02 Flyer Now Available

Just in time for Thanksgiving ... the SRM 2002 flyer is online.

Please go to holidayworld.com/srm to see it. (It's a blind link, so please don't try to find it directly from our site.)

Hope you like it. Hope you like it.

I am excited about this event already.  It will be my 4th... I think...
I am curious though...  It seems inflation may have hit the event.  Am I wrong or is it up $10 from last year?

I am joining ACE just to go to it. I have never been to Holiday World, but this is the perfect excuse to go.

Best Flyer yet!  I cannot wait to go to this event, two nights on my favorite wooden coaster?  You'd be a fool NOT to go.

Yes, Shaggy, the price did raise $10.  I'm assuming it's because they're providing us with two meals now (mmmm BBQ) and lots more riding time.

$30 is a steal!

Actually, 3 meals -- Breakfast too... I agree, $30 is a bargain for a two-day event!

No need to join ACE "just" for this event, the CoasterBuzz Club would get you in.

Whoops, forgot about breakfast!

And kids, heed Dave's advice about not throwing ice on strangers.  The outcome could be nasty (not to mention HILARIOUS!).

Joe, who hopes Legend will rock more than ever with the new PTCs.

Thanks again Paula! Looking forward to my third SRM, not to mention my baby with her new trains!

Folks, if there's one enthusiast event you should attend, this is it. It's not that the ERT is all that "E" given the number of people who are there, but riding Legend and Raven in total darkness is a religious experience, even if you only do it two or three times.

And yes, CoasterBuzz Club members will be eligible to attend. $20/year to join.

This year the Legend line will also move more quickly, as they'll have two trains.  That may be offset by higher attendance, though :)

This is THE event, though.  I'm in the process of deciding which 2002 events I want to do while saving the cash and vacation time for Europe.  There was never any doubt, SRM is ON the list.

Thanks for the link Paula!

 Count me in!

Am I right in understanding that park admission for both days is included?  Just making sure...

Yep, it sure is.

I am also counting on getting *more* rides in this year, seeing as how it's two nights, and I can guarantee there will be some people that won't be there both nights.  Not to mention Legend will have two trains (the line will move insanely fast, I predict...it moved well with ONE train!)

Doess anyone here know a good day to go to HW in the summer? (June)

You know, now that you mention it, Legendary, it did move pretty well with one train. Of course, if the employees get free soda too, there you have it!

Ok this is very strange but for the past couple of days I have been trying to view the flyer and it won't work.  I have Acrobat Reader and I've never had a problem opening any Adobe pages before.  Anyone know why it won't work?

Try right clicking on the flyer's link, and Save As'ing it to your hard drive, giving it a .pdf extension in the process. Once it's saved locally with the proper extension, Acrobat should happily read it.

Great,  I can't wait.  Last year was my first time at SRM and HW for that matter and I was completely blown away.  This is a must do event if you've never gone before.
$30 for two days is a steal.  I can't wait to attend my first SRM.
