Does anyone know why this ride was taken out. I remember riding it when I first discovered my love for Roller Coasters. I know it has been gone for a while. I seem to think it is because of mechanical issues but I am not sure. Any information on this issue would be great.

I live around there, so I heard about the many highly-publicized accidents. They had a lot of trouble with the brakes. There were at least a half a dozen people injured on several occasions. The media was having a field day. They were almost forced to get rid of it.
I miss it too. :(

Oh yeah... and now it is Nightmare at Crackaxle Canyon at The Great Escape. A little thing that Jeff (webmaster) informed me of when I was disappointed to see it on the list of coaster that I could put in my track record.

I live about 10 minutes from KK and I could not for the life of me remember why the ride was taken out.
I am not sure but I heard someone got killed on the ride. I live about an hour away from SFKK
No one was killed, but several were injured.
