Stand-ups with in-line twists...

Up until yesterday, I didn't think there were any stand-ups with in-line twists. I bought World's Greatest Roller Coaster Thrills, and I about fell out of my chair when I saw 7-Up Shockwave in Drayton Manor. It has an in-line twist right after the loop, and was built in 1994.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any detailed pictures of the inversion except for here:
http://www.draytonmanor.co.uk/exp_index.htm

Click "The Big Rides" then plick on "Picture 1"...it shows almost the whole inversion, but from very far away.

Does anyone know why this element hasn't become common place on this type of ride?

Does anyone else know if there are other stand-ups with in-line twists?

Riddler's Revenge has one, I think.  And I don't know why there was (is) no major need to have that element on stand-ups.

Riddler's Revenge does not have an inline twist.

Shockwave is the only one. Too bad, too, I bet they're a blast.

Hi! I'm Hungry, whats your name?
Your head is miles away from the track, meaning LOADS more lateral G's during this manouvre. Everyone bashes their right ears on the OTSR!! People may disagree, but I'd just had a piercing in the top of my right ear...so it really weed me off!

Just like perfection, floorless...needs no correction, floorless...like no other, floorless... absolutely floorless. The Ones.
The in line twist on Shockwave is awesome. I found the double corkscrew the roughtest part of the ride and even that was okay.

Isn't there signs up not to wear earings or studs, I know there is on most other stand-ups (including Batman the Escape - also Intamin).

Coasters are like a fine wine, they get better with age.
Some may find this interesting...

SFMM wanted a zero-g roll for Riddler's Revenge.  B&M said, "No way," probably because of the headbanging in Intamin's Shockwave.  And so, in the end, Riddler got two diving loops instead.  Just a FYI.

Where'd ya here that coasterdude?

Hi! I'm Hungry, whats your name?
Just thinking of a zero-g roll on a stand-up....ugh.  OW!  It seems like only BIG inversions work with stand-ups cus your center of gravity is so far above the track...any tight inversions would be waaaay too rough.

I downloaded this design for RCT and it is a very short ride.

Spacecase8310, actually looking at the footage when it's looking back at the riders, there really isn't any head banging at all...
