S&S Thrust Towers

On the 22nd of this month I'm going back to SFFT for the first time since I was 8 yrs. old. Anyway I'll get to ride my first S&S Thrust Tower. Are they a lot of Fun ? Does your stomach come up to your throat , What is the launch like ?

Also, How is SKC ? I know it is Excellent because its a B&M and Very smooth. What is the avg. wait for it in march ? Is the park very crowded ? SFOT was a walk on for every ride on sat. Including Titan, will SFFT be the same?

Thanks

Well I've only been on one, the Maliboomer at DCA, and that is a much less intense version then the standard S&S space shot tower. Even though less intense and shorter it was alot of fun and I cannot wait to get on a taller version. The launch is very fun and you get some good airtime at the top.

I have been on 3 of their rides and they are a blast! ( no pun intended) The Double Shot at IB and PowerTower at Cedar Point. I like the Power Tower alot but there is nothing like the Double Shot! The Feeling you get when you get to the top and shot right back down is unbelievable.

I also have been on a lot of S&S Power Towers they are fun! I almost ride Power Tower at Valleyfair when I get a chance to. I realy like getting shot up pretty fun. Going down is a different story. I get nervous about sitting at the top of everytime before they drop you thats what I dont like about going down but thats the fun part of going down.

Ive rode Power Tower at CP and Double Shot at IB and I think that the shorter they are the more intense the ride is.

I have been on Dominator at DP and Power Tower at CP. I like PT's space shot side because of the massive air at the top. I will soon have gone on Supreme Scream at KBF also.

I can't think of a good signature.

Why did you ask if Superman Krypton Coaster is a good ride, if you think it's excellent?
Care to explain?

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.
Is what I ment was If it's a B&M it is excellent as far as smoothness, but I meant the entire experience, Drop, loop, Cobra Roll, Barrel roll, etc. All the good stuf.
Getting dropped rules!!!

I rode Power Tower @ CP for the first time last year. I loved the Space Shot side, but the Turbo Drop side blew me away! It's the first ride that's actually scared me a little bit in a LONG time.

I love Space Shots (and considering I'm scare of heights, this is a bizarre thing to say :) ) and I liked Cedar Point's Power Tower a lot. The Power Drop side was scary while you're waiting up there (it takes about 15 seconds while locked up there for the release and air pressure to go off), but seemed to be less intense than the old Intamin first generation freefalls (ie Demon Drop at CP).

I want to try a double shot ride too, though it's going to have to be *REALLY* good to beat my favorite one of all, the Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror at MGM Studios in DisneyWorld.

Either way, they're really lots of fun as long as lines aren't too bad.
