This may be the double shot that they are installing at Celebration City in Branson, MO. The name of the former ride matches the one to be installed.

I just got back from a long weekend in Myrtle Beach and while I was there I made an interesting oberservation. I apologize if this is old news but the S&S Double Shot, "Accelerator," is gone. It was at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. I last rode it in August. Does anyone know what happened?-----------------

many times seasonal parks rent out their flat rides to the winter operating fairs. If i'm not mistaken, thrillville sends it's rides out "on tour" during the winter......

That's correct. It was there two seasons, I believe. It arrived here about a month ago. Its new home in the 4th of July section is being prepped--and Liberty Launch will be set up in mid-December.
Thanks, Paula

The Double Shot at Celebration City has light green and yellow tanks/cyclinders. Does that match what the Accelerator at North Myrtle Beach had?

Well, since we HAVE you here already Paula....my *thinking* is that Miracle Strip's O2 Tower was a brand new ride for this year.....and I know of no other parks that even *might* have had an S&S Double Shot...was "your" S&S from this park in Panama City Beach?
Just found out the Reverchon Mouse that was sitting "right next door" does NOT in fact belong to the park....apparently it was being kept there, since Reverchon has facilities "nearby"...
thanks, you have NO idea how much we appreciate your being here and tolerating the endless parade of questions.....but the public wants to know....

Bill--
I know S&S had two slightly used Double Shots that were both located in Florida. We purchased one of them. When it arrived a month ago, it had "Cobra" on the tarp (or whatever it is) that goes at the top of the tower.
Thanks, Paula

Well, Rob, Puyallup is closed come CAC time, right? So, if we're gonna get on any rides other than C:TR, it would have to involve some sort "horse-trading" with the fair, right? How about we give the fairground operators a "taste" of Udon, and tell them they get an additional bowl for every other coaster/flat they open for us (the Anton Wildcat being the most important "other" ride).....Seriously, though, what do you and Ron think about the chances of getting anything else opened up for the pre-CAC (or is it post-CAC?) trip to Puyallup? Also, WW/EV has to get a visit - the S&S booth was BUZZING with activity during the show....more on that *later*, and PNE (obviously) needs a trip. Gotta try out the ride before it gets shipped to Robland.
...thinking I'll get some smoked salmon up there....yummy! Is this trip more for food or coasters, lol...seems like other than food topics, all I have is questions....can't wait for August, well, end of May at least!
Well, most importantly, food is not at a premium here. Seattle is indeed known for the copious varieties of ethnic foods, amongst other legendary things! Tomoko's udon soup is, as you have heard, superb. If you are even "kind of" a sushi guy, then just south of here, right within throwing distance of WW/EV lies the "worlds best sushi restaurant." Bar none, this joint will rock your world.
As far as the Puyallup is concerned, I would hazard a guess that anything besides C:TR is completely out of the question, as the travelling circus won't have arrived as of yet. Granted, Wildcat will be in place, as will the monster mouse, but I can't imagine them being so gracious to allow us on those as well...:( We shall see.
