S:RoS tomarrow @ SFNE...

Well Louie B and I are going to SFNE tomarrow and I was wondering is the red train operating yet... Because I really dont want there to only be single train operation all day. Does anyone know?!

There Better Be 2 Trains Running Or SFNE is gonna lose A Lot Of Business!!!!!!!!!

I was just there last wednesday and no red train. It is still in the exact same spot as it was at the end of may. Talked to a ride op on the situation and he said that they have been running the train at night to try and get the 'bugs' out of it. The mechanics keep saying next week but next week never comes. My guess is August for the red train.

This is why CP rules!

I was told on Saturday, June 22, during a visit to SFNE that the red train (not the original, a new one that now sits on the tracks and is frequently tested and adjusted without riders) will hopefully be in operation by the end of July. This comment was told to me a by a general ops employee, not an official so do with it what you will.

Incidentally, on Saturday the park opened at 10:00 but Superman didn't run for over 2 hours and the new Dark Knight wasn't running until 11:00. Not good.

The exact same thing happened on wednesday. Superman wasn't suppose to open until noon. Batman opened at 10 but soon stopped working. A lot of pissed people were walking around so they finally decided to open Superman at about 11. What is wrong with SFNE?

I also was looking at the 'new' red train and I don't think the whole train is new. The seats looked used. I am guessing they replaced the first and last cars but used the old seats and what ever they could off the old train.

How do you know? The GP doesn't know or care if S:ROS is running two trains. By the time they find out, they're most likely inside the park and have paid, so SFNE wouldn't care what they do anyway.

Planned parks: Astroland, Knoebel's, Hersheypark, SFNE, SFGadv,SFGam,CP,PKI,PKD,PCW,HW,Indiana Beach,SFWOA,SFKK,SFDL,SFSTL,Lakemont,DelGrosso's... Need I say more?

I think SFNE needs to seriously work the bugs out of the whole park! Mikemir87 and I are going tommorrow and we really want to hit all the big rides. They need to get the red train on superman so the the line would move a lot faster. No Body Likes Waiting In The Heat!

only the blue train is running. i was there yesturday :(

My Advice: get to the park when it opens, and go straight for SROS...wait wont be long then, and you should be able to get about 3 - 4 rides in about 2 hours time. thats how it worked out for me yesturday

83 coasters in Track Record!! Hypersonic XLC # 100 in July. Waiting for the 305 foot drop tower in 2003. Thank you PKD.

Was there Friday and only the blue train ran. My advice, get to S:ROS early and often, then ride everything else. Batman's line moves well and the ride ops seemed very attentative. They were even filling in all four seats. Probably the best crew I have seen at that park.

One of the mechanics told me middle of July for the red train, so take that for whatever it is worth.

The only suggestion I have when going to SFNE is look for a day that starts out cloudy and raining, with a forecast for clearing in the afternoon. By the time it clears, you are already at the park and it's too late for everybody else to go. On this kind of day last weekend I got an easy fifteen laps on BDK, plus three on Superman and everything else was walk on...

My only advice is to never go on weekends. Too many kids that just yell and scream. Most of them with parent's not even caring that they are annoying other people. I know alot of people come from out of the area, this is just a tip from a seasoned vet.

I was there Saturday and it was a 2 1/2 hour wait pretty much the whole day except for when SROS opened at like11. I just skipped it. I was with cb's The Dark Knight and were pretty bummed we couldn't ride. We are dependent on that ride...

I lost my hat on Poison Ivy. How pathetic.

How true...and that is the absolute wrong attitude for a company to have.

Happy Coastering!
