Is it just me? Of ir SFNE:SROS not getting the love a "#1" steel coaster deserves?? I saw all the documentaries last year, and have seen the list of featured coasters on this year's documentaries on amusement parks. MF, Goliath, XLC, S:UE, all you expect, right? Well if SROS SFNE was voted/declared best steel coaster, why isn't it ever featured on these shows?

Location. That simple.

I hate noise in these message boards.
Same reason Carowinds is never featured on any of the shows.
It's always IoA, CP, SFMM, Kennywood, BGW, PKI. Anything else and it's a sin. I swear if I hear Spiderman one more time I'm gonna SCREAM!!!!
I thought about that, but next year they will probably head to SFGAdv to film Nitro, and then they won't have an excuse to skip Boudler Dash or SROS(SFNE). They go all theway from SFM,M to CP, to IOA, so why not head up north? Carowinds is right on teh way too, they should feature that.

SROS221: it's certainly not just you. While I haven't ridden those "Ohio coasters" (yet, he says hopefully) I have ridden SROS(SFNE)and I defy anyone to ask for more from a coaster. I know some fellow ACE members, I respect their opinions, they get around more than I do. More than a few of them have ridden Millenium Force and SROS(SFNE) and shared a common thought: MF first drop is better (longer, steeper, out of their seat all the way down) but the rest of the ride offers nothing more than SROS(SFNE). We all know size doesn't really matter...reference to Boulder Dash above is noted. Some day, that woodie will be known as a "must ride" to all coaster junkies.

Mother, did it need to be so high?
I disagree 100% of the top 10 coasters. If it's not Cedar Point or SFMM you'll never make the show. Some parks just don't get the credit. It's just that everyone goes to these parks more than all the rest.

I don't really think that's true at all. After all these years, why does Kennywood get so much attention? Let us also not forget the special coming up with Holiday World's Legend and Raven.
Good rides get noticed, regardless of where they are.

I was just overjoyed at last night's Secret World of Theme Parks show on TLC. Very little to no Cedar Point!
It was a refreshing show! (Way to go Scott, but hey,
don't quit you're day job, k?) Too bad they had to
bring in Ruben's mumblin', fumblin', stumblin',
''coaster historian'' mug! :)
