SRM Shirt Color

I have no problem with a dark color if the design works better with it. Before even reading the rest of the posts, I was thinking "what about a nice dark blue?"

So, put me down as another vote for dark blue :)

Yeah, the giant glow-in-the-dark thing on the back to this day causes some major sweat issues. Let's not do that again!

Generally any dark color would probably work for me, like black, dark blue, dark green, maroon... just nothing that would make a manly man feel uncomfortable.

I like the idea of keeping the grey or Dark blue.
It should definitely be Pink! Hehehe, just kidding. How about yellow or orange? It is a pretty light color as not to attract the sun and when coaster buddies meet up, they can say look for me in the easy to spot SRM shirt. Yellow and orange are bright and easy to see.

Form follows function so if the shirt needs to be black or dark blue then so be it. Unless we can have plaid SRM shirts?:)

Paula - you'll never be able to please everyone. Go with whatever color fits the design. Besides...black seems pretty appropriate for an event that is done IN THE DARK!

Paula, you guys are just too much...asking for our input on coasters is one thing, but as far as FASHION is concerned I don't know...I mean, have you SEEN some of the outfits these folks wear at events?...;)

I definately have to agree with rollergator. I know when I think of fashion sense I think of coaster enthusiasts.

I like the suggestion from someone on RRC (forget who it was, so I apoligize if you're reading here as well) about skipping the shirts and having tattoos at the front gate...

I'm putting my vote down for dark blue sounds like a good choice.

I like the idea of gray not too hot, and it dosent get dirty that easily.

I would go for a tan, light forrest green or light grey to get an earth-tone-woodsy-feel.
Plus, they won't get too hot.

Of course it depends on what the design looks like.

Dark blue wont feel any different than black on a hot summer day

(Even though Dark Blue would look darn good)

Hey Paula,

Is there still time to order the T-shirts?????? I plan to order 3 when I send off my SRM registration tomorrow.

2 XL

1 L

In the event that will help you any in knowing before you get my registration!

As to the question....I think Legend Purple would be sweet! I dont mind black or dark blue either. I have confidence the shirts will be sweet!

The jury is still out on that...I'm leaning toward a light-colored shirt for a number of reasons. A new reason is that we have a bonafide celebrity coming--so some folks may actually want their shirt autographed.

Thanks, Paula

Well, if there's going to be autographing going on, then I agree with you Paula. go with a lighter color...Grey perhaps? White gets dirty too easily...
